About Bandobust: The Protest Simulator

Every order has a price and a side effect. Deploying police or bringing in a bus clears people from the street, but heavy-handed moves cost trust, and buses can break down and send their passengers back. You place orders on the street map in real time while the crowd keeps growing, and a shift report at the end sums up what you did.

The setting is a fictional district, but the jokes are about how real protests are handled, including a 'Godi Media' option and a 'Your Rights' panel. Detailed pixel art, a soundtrack and awards to unlock make it more polished than most quick satire games.

Who is Bandobust: The Protest Simulator for?

  • Fans of Papers, Please who enjoyed a desk job with rules to follow and consequences that pile up.
