About Breadwinner
The game runs across six paydays leading up to Christmas. Each night you open your phone, with a fictional digital bank, a social feed, a calculator and a satirical betting app, decide what gets paid and what does not, then go home to Nanay, Tatay, your sister Princess and little Bunso. Everyone remembers what you refused, every skipped bill has a consequence, and the run ends in one of 16 endings across five storylines. Controls are two walk keys and a click, or taps on mobile, and it saves at the start of each night.

Billed as everyday horror, it draws its dread from money rather than monsters: illness, debt collectors, gambling and the threat of eviction, framed by a dreamcore loop soundtrack and low-poly 3D rooms. Players in the comments describe crying partway through. It was made for the Filipino Horror Game Jam 2026 and is still in development, with a stream of bug-fix and content updates since launch. The credits roll as a public feed where players can leave a message for real breadwinners.
