About Family Reunion: The Appetizer
Time crawls at the start of dinner, and your job is to make the clock hit zero faster by using imagination, conversation and sneaking off to explore the house. You pick a playstyle (Introvert, Chatty or Adventurer), loot rooms, collect ideas, grab food for boosts and either dodge relatives or win them over.
It captures a feeling almost everyone remembers, and players who expected a gag game found something with real depth. Rock Paper Shotgun covered it, and it has been exhibited at festivals from New York to Melbourne.
