Why Slopcheck is on Unfound

Its launch post was a top post of the quarter on r/playmygame, and it is one of very few games built to train a skill people now need every day.

Highlights

  • A new six-photo round every day, with a score and the tells at the end
  • Instant feedback after each photo, so you learn as you play
  • No accounts or email; a random browser ID keeps your stats and compares you with other players

Keep in mind

  • By design, the puzzle shows AI-generated photos alongside real ones
  • No account option: your stats are tied to a random ID stored in your browser

About Slopcheck

Each day's round is six photos shown one at a time. You flag each as Real or AI, find out immediately whether you were right, and move on; at the end you get a score, the tells you should have spotted, and a comparison with other players. A random ID stored in your browser keeps your stats between days, so there is nothing to sign up for.

The game is about spotting AI images, so by design some of the photos it shows are AI-generated. The developer made it after being tricked by fake images themselves, pointing to how often AI photos now turn up in messages, newsfeeds and donation pleas, and the site states it does not sell play data or train a model on your answers. It is for anyone who wants a quick daily workout in telling real photos from synthetic ones.

Slopcheck FAQ

Is Slopcheck free?

Yes. It plays free in the browser with no account and no email address required.

Does Slopcheck use my answers to train AI?

The site says no. It stores a random ID in your browser to keep your stats, does not sell play data and is not training a model on it; the developer repeats this on Reddit.

How does Slopcheck work?

Each day you get six photos, one at a time. Flag each as Real or AI, see whether you were right, and at the end get your score plus the tells to watch for next time.
