How we chose these games

We started from Google's top results for "farm games" and itch.io's list of browser-playable farming games, then opened every candidate to confirm it is free and runs in a browser. We left out download-only games, Stardew Valley remakes and other fan games, and paid games. Several picks are free browser versions or demos of games sold on Steam; each card says so.

Every game here was checked on Oct 15, 2026 to be free and to run in a web browser with no download. Editors are playtesting each one for a full review; scores appear once that is done.
